In about 40 minutes around Trujillo

Feel like a walk but not like one for hours. There is a nice walk right at end. You leave the main square (Plaza Mayor), between de San Martín church and San Carlos convent and take the first street to the left (Calle Estudio) in de direction to the church of Santo Domingo. Then follow the sand path all around the city walls. You might doubt where to go as you meet an underground water pump station, where plenty of dogs behind the fence will bark at you in joy, for the paved road goes back into town next to the castle, but is you go straight on and follow the unpaved path, you see the wall in all its glory. Especially nice at sunset.
